What this website collects, who sees it, how long it is kept, and how to ask us about it. It is short because the site does little: it has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics.

What we collect

When you send a quote request

The quote form collects your name, company, email address and, if you give it, your phone number; the product lines and quantities you chose, including any quantity breaks; where the order ships to (city, state and ZIP code); the date you need it by; inside dimensions, board or flute and artwork status if you give them; and anything you type in the project box. If you attach artwork or a dieline, the file is sent with the request, as an attachment to the email our estimators receive (up to 10 MB); the website does not store it. Treat any file you send as confidential: we use it to quote your job, and an NDA is available on request.

When you write to us

The contact form collects your name, email address, company and phone number if you give them, and your message.

When you visit

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (such as your IP address, the page requested and your browser type) to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not run analytics or advertising scripts on this website, and it does not set advertising or tracking cookies.

How it is used and who receives it

What you submit through the quote and contact forms is sent by email to our sales and estimating team so a person can reply to you and price your job. Email is delivered through an email-sending service (Resend) that handles the message on our behalf. We use your details to answer your request and for the ordering and support that follow from it.

How long we keep it

This website keeps no database of what you submit, and no copy of any file you attach. A submission leaves your browser as one email, so the copy that exists is the email in our sales and estimating mailbox, plus whatever the email service keeps while delivering it, under its own terms. We keep ours as long as we need it to answer you, quote the job and handle the order and support that follow, and for our ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time (see below).

Kept in your browser

The site saves a few things in your own browser storage so you do not lose your work: your quote list (the product lines and quantities you have added, kept under the name gwpg-inquiry), and a draft of a quote or contact message you have started, which is cleared once the message is sent. This stays on your device; it is not sent to us until you submit a form. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Maps, location and video

The locations page can ask your browser for your position to sort our plants by distance. The coordinates are used on your device and are not sent to us. Product how-to videos are hosted on Vimeo; nothing is requested from Vimeo until you press play, and the player is asked not to track you.

We do not sell or share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The only parties that handle what you send are Cloudflare (hosting) and the email-sending service named above, acting on our behalf.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to be treated no differently for asking. You do not need an account to use any of these: there is no account.

How to make a request

Email sales@gwpg.com or call (888) 501-5893, and say which of the above you want. We may ask you to confirm the email address you used so we can find the right message. We will confirm we received your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, as California law requires. Golden West Packaging Group, 15250 Don Julian Rd., City of Industry, CA 91745.

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page.
